And the origin of the Kharis & Kale name – well it comes from Greek mythology. The Greeks and Romans were great designers and their influence is still evident today in ‘classical’ interior design. Aglaea, who was one of The Three Graces and the Goddess of beauty, splendour, adornment, glory, and magnificence, was also known as Kharis (the Grace) and Kale (beauty).

Following a successful sales career in the corporate world of communications and with over 20 years of experience in buying and renovating properties, I made the decision to take a different direction and follow a passion for design, so I completed a degree course in Interior Design.
I am passionate about the difference great design can make, to a home or business. In a busy world relaxing in your home is precious time. Good interior design will enhance this experience and enable you to focus on what matters to you. Great interior design for a holiday let and stylish furnishings for a holiday let will be a good marketing platform; it will entice people to return and encourage people to tell others.
I have bought and sold quite a number of properties and in my experience; getting the best price for your property and obtaining a quick sale really depends on how well you present it. Great home staging is an essential element of the process, appeal to the many, create an aspirational space adding touches of luxury, warmth, and comfort - let people walk in and fall in love with it and you will sell quickly and maximise your investment.
My other passion is travel. I love exploring new cities and cultures and a winter holiday in the mountains is my idea of heaven. Having lived and worked in London for over 20 years I have now returned to my fantastic home city of Manchester.
